Water Barrier Nuts are used in water retaining structures. They are casted into the concrete wall between two separate tie bars, to prevent water seeping alongside the thread bar. After pouring concrete, tie rods are removed, the water barrier remains in concrete. These are made out of ductile cast iron/ galvanized steel.
