The AFFIX Compression Post system is used in areas of high wind loading such as high-rise buildings. This system can be installed from floor to ceiling and mesh barriers clamped to the post. It can be easily installed by extending the inner tube to the ceiling and securing the temporary edge protection system and then activating the compression function using a screw adjustment. Using the compression posts in conjunction with mesh barriers allows for fully covered openings.
This system avoids the use of anchors and can be mechanically anchored between floor and slab/soffit and is easy, fast and safe.
